I is for Iwan Rheon

IWAN RHEON: Is a 26 year old Welsh singer/actor (most well know in the UK for his part in the TV show misfits). He released his solo EP in 2010 titled 'Tongue Tied' and also one called 'Changing Times'.
He also performs with the band 'The Convictions'.
He has meaningful lyrics paired with great acoustic guitar and vocals for most of the tracks. I do really like his song tongue tied.

My second band have a bit more of an alternative/indie sound. They are called IS TROPICAL: a recent band from London. They choose to perform with veiled faces, and masks, I'm not sure why, but it's an interesting visual hook. They have a more electro, bass, pop sound. Their debut album was released last year titled 'Native To'. My favourite song is called 'The Greeks', but I would also recommend listening to 'South Pacific'.

And finally, a more well known band called ISLANDS: they are a Canadian indie rock band, formed in 2005. They have had a few albums out, the one that contains my favourite song is called 'Return to the Sea' released in 2006. But they also released one this year as well.

The song is one you've probably heard on the radio, called 'Don't call me Whitney, Bobby'
That's all for I've got for 'I'.
Love and Peace

I was so pleased to see Iwan here...I'm Welsh and we rarely have famous Welsh singers (since Tom Jones) even though we're known for singing. Thank you.
Rhia from Five Minute Piece for Inspiration (about #802 on A to Z list).
