Broadway/West End

So, as I am graduating from university this year, In JULY! I have had to think about what I want to do with my career. And since I am studying Drama and Theatre Studies with English, and I sing constantly- I have decided and realized that my secret, and now public desire is to be in a musical on broadway or the West End. (This is of course on of many career opportunities on the table right now, supposing that this one doesn't pan out, travel writing and physical theatre and other such things are also options.)

However, my current list of musicals I would be happy to be in goes as follows:
* Wicked
* Cats
* West Side Story
* Hairspray
* Chicago
* Singing in the Rain
.... and so on

So it's time to get cracking. Starting to go on auditions and keeping my voice limber, as well as emailing contacts I have and seeing if they have any contacts in musical theatre.
Wish me Luck

Love and Peace.

Coaches are Gods!

So I just got back from my 50 hour Escape and Evade Challenge.
Result: We made it to Glasgow :D
Raised: £525 for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Considering that we hadn't made any ground on acquiring plane or travel reservations, and were basically going into this blind and with nothing, I am quite proud. We also go back to discover that 2 groups of the 6 participating had dropped out, and that one isn't making back in time - after having one too many in Amsterdam.

Milage wise- google has told me that it was 996 miles in total. So fingers crossed we come out the winners, because that would be amazing. We have slept in Victoria Coach station and on various buses/coaches, and eaten in random places and been cold most of the time.

Thanks to Longleys taxi's, Megabus Coaches, and Greyhound Buses UK, for getting us to these places- and thanks for nothing to most airlines, train lines, and national express!
Can't believe we did it.

Yay team Charity Skywalkers!

Singer/Songwriter?

So I know I have singing skills, and I have trained my voice over the years. But my efforts to play instruments have been dimsal, and I really want to just take the time to push myself to play guitar and piano really well to help with my songwriting. I have great ideas for songs but the fact that my instrumental abilities are limited means that I find my songwriting abilities limited as well.

Mission: Instead of going on the internet- sing and play and write!!

Love and Peace.
